Polars comparison was useful
Nice to see when to switch tools, without dismissing pandas. Very balanced.

Learn pandas on real public datasets: loading, cleaning, grouping, joining, time series and turning results into clear answers
Created by Priya Raman
pandas is the standard Python library for working with tables of data. Analysts, scientists and engineers use it to load spreadsheets and database exports, clean them, combine them and answer questions. If you have ever spent an afternoon fixing a spreadsheet by hand, pandas will change how you work.
This course teaches pandas through real, messy public datasets: city bike trips, a retail sales export and weather records. You will meet the problems real data has, like inconsistent dates, missing values, duplicated rows and typos in categories, and learn a reliable process for dealing with them.
Every lesson is a notebook. We start each section with a question, such as "which stations run out of bikes on weekday mornings", and build the pandas code to answer it step by step. You will also learn to check your results, because a wrong number delivered confidently is worse than no number.
You need basic Python: variables, lists, dictionaries, loops and functions. No statistics background is required.
Data analyst teaching pandas, charts and clear answers from messy data
I work as a data analyst, which mostly means taking messy spreadsheets and database exports and turning them into answers people can act on. My daily tools are Python, pandas, SQL and Jupyter, with Polars creeping in for larger files.
I teach with public datasets so you see the real problems: missing values, odd date formats, duplicated rows. We clean them together and then make charts that are easy to read.
I believe a simple, well labelled chart beats a clever one, and that the best analysis is the one someone else can rerun next month.

The messy datasets were the best part. Cleaning dates and categories is exactly what my job involves.
The lessons on agg and transform turned groupby from mysterious into my favourite tool.
As an Excel heavy analyst, the pivot table and merge lessons made the switch feel natural.
I loved the emphasis on sanity checks. It caught a duplicate join issue in my own work report.
Very practical. The time series section could use one more exercise on seasonality.
The first section is basic if you know some pandas. Later sections are excellent.
